Pre-Fashion Week events in Kiev & news

I hope everyone enjoyed all the fashion weeks! For me, it’s always a little bit sad to see the last show of the season in Paris – I love the excitement of new shows, new clothes, new looks every few hours for a couple of weeks each year. I’m curious though, what were your thoughts on Snejana’s season? Starting monday, I’m going to begin my recaps of the shows, including full runway, backstage, details and have a poll at the end for your favourite looks. I was overall very happy with what she did, consistent at Chanel, Dolce, Gucci, Balmain etc, though of course I would have loved to see her more. I was especially happy to see her back at Dior and Galliano.

Snejana attended a couple of events before she arrived in Milan, so I’m posting all the photo’s I’ve found together in one post.

Finally, you may remember that in October 2009, Elie Saab presented his Fall 2009 Haute Couture collection in Kiev (see more here). Debosh.net (via MyNameIs at tFS) reports that on 22nd October, Stephane Rolland will present his Fall 2010 Haute Couture collection in Kiev as part of the Ukraine Fashion Week festivities. It is reported that top models such as Alla Kostromichova and Victoria Kuropyatnikova will join Snejana in walking the runway.

Snejana attended the opening of brand new concept store, The Icon. The store brings to Kiev brands previously unavailable, with clothes, accessories, collectible books and CDs. The night also featured a Balmain fashion show, showing the F/W 10.11 collection.
